FinTech North are thrilled to announce our Newcastle FinTech Forum 2024 , hosted in partnership with Innovation SuperNetwork, FinPact, Internet of Caring Things (IOCT) and North of Tyne Digital.

We aim to bring over 100 members of the Northern FinTech community together in the North East for a day of exploration, collaboration, and innovation.

Building on the incredible success of previous conferences, including our third Newcastle conference in 2023 that drew over 160 attendees this event marks the continuation of our commitment to fostering engagement and enthusiasm in the North East.

The end of 2022 saw the publication of the Whitecap North East FinTech Strategy, which saw 39 scaleups and start-ups, 92 established FinTech firms and £312 million GVA come out of the North Eastern FinTech ecosystem, firmly cementing the region as an established centre of FinTech on a national scale.

The Strategy emphasised the need for more region-specific networking opportunities – this event responds to that call, providing a platform for the FinTech ecosystem to thrive, to spark discussions and to help foster relationships within the community.

In partnership with Innovation SuperNetwork and Internet of Caring Things, we aim to bring together key FinTech stakeholders to explore collaborative opportunities, with a special focus on the theme “FinTech for Good.” 

Our financial health is a contributing factor to our emotional, physical and mental wellbeing. Add that to the fact people are living longer, being educated about financial matters and processes is essential to us all, at every stage of life.

Connected technologies that enable us to learn about financial processes, our spending and saving behaviours and provide access to advice will help us all finance our futures allowing us to live a happier, healthier and longer life.

The dynamic and modern co-working space at One Strawberry Lane sets the stage for an exciting and interactive gathering, creating an ideal environment for networking and idea exchange. The new co-working space is located in the heart of the city, right by St. James’ park,a perfect place to bring our community together in the North East.

One of our most popular segments, a showcase will provide a platform for FinTech innovation, with a commitment to highlighting diversity and inclusion within the industry as well as opportunities for FinTechs at any level to share their stories and grow.

Innovation SuperNetwork

Innovation SuperNetwork deliver the Digital Cluster North of Tyne programme for digital businesses in Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland which is funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority.
