FinTech North is delighted to announce that Computershare will be a sponsor of its three major conferences in 2018, which take place in Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool.
The global financial administration company, which is a major employer in the Northern Powerhouse, has committed its support for the second consecutive year. This year the firm’s Head of Analytics, Dr Steven Finlay, will also be speaking at the Leeds conference on the topic of Artificial Intelligence and decision making.
Computershare is the latest major brand to commit its support to FinTech North, the Northern Powerhouse’s pre-eminent FinTech conference series, which expects to attract 800 attendees. In 2018 FinTech North has partnered with organisations including Leeds City Council, Innovate Finance, the CBI, Tech City UK, and the Department for International Trade.
“It’s been an exciting year for Computershare as we continue to apply emerging, advanced technology and digital understanding to the services we provide to our clients. It is a pleasure to be sponsoring FinTech North again this year, and we’re all looking forward to the conferences.”
Andrew Freeley, Chief Strategy Officer at Computershare
“This year is the most exciting yet for Fintech North, with so much positive activity gathering pace in the regional FinTech economy across the north of England. We’re delighted to be working with Computershare again, who brought some fascinating technology with them last year when their augmented reality exhibition stand was a really popular feature of the conference.”
